About the Role
- Two brand-new anesthetic machines
- New dental machine and digital dental X-ray
- Doppler
- Two anesthetic carts
- Digital radiography, ultrasound, laser therapy
- In-house laboratory and pharmacy
- Spays & neuters
- Mass removals
- Routine and advanced dentals
- 4-day workweek, with rotating Saturdays
- Closed Sundays (We would consider opening Sundays for an incoming DVM)
- ~15 appointments per day, 30 minutes each
- Sick patients needing diagnostics or treatments are hospitalized for the day
- Sick appointments are not scheduled as the last appointment of the day
- 1-hour lunch break
- 30 minutes of doctor admin time at the end of each shift
- Very collaborative DVM team
- 1 LVT and 1 technician in training
- 2:1 tech-to-DVM ratio for both surgery and appointments
- Long-tenured staff — 4+ years average tenure
