Randy Ceballos, DVM

Dr. Ceballos was born in West Covina, California, but grew up in a small town called Mariposa, which he still loves to visit. He graduated from California State University, Stanislaus in 1995 with a degree in biology and a minor in chemistry, and started veterinary school that same year. He graduated from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1999 and then moved to Las Vegas.

Dr. Ceballos worked at Tropicana Animal Hospital for a year and a half before opening Sunridge Animal Hospital in 2001 as head doctor and manager. Dr. Ceballos’ professional interests include surgery, orthopedics, reptiles, large cats, and exotics.

You’re sure to be in great hands with Dr. Ceballos. He has many years of experience working as a veterinarian at places like the Silverton Aquarium and Las Vegas Zoo and has also spent several years with the Department of Wildlife. He has worked with lions, Gila monsters, eagles, and other wild birds, all while managing to balance his time at Sunridge.

His personal interests include camping, cooking, fishing, playing the guitar, and visiting Mariposa.
